Hottest month
Coldest month
Despite the intense heat, July and August are the most popular months to fly into Marrakech. Ducking into a shady café for mint tea and browsing in the souk provide welcome respite from the sweltering sun. The mild, sunny weather of December, January and February are also popular as an escape from chilly winters elsewhere (although be prepared for a spot of rain and cold nights).
If you're looking to sidestep the crowds and peak prices of high summer, fly to Marrakech in May, June, September or October. These shoulder season months feature plenty of sunshine (although May can see both rain showers and sandstorms) and comfortable weather for exploring the medina and browsing in the souks.
