Newquay located on the north coast on Cornwall, is home to the only commercial airport in Cornwall. It’s a popular gateway to iconic destinations like St. Ives, Padstow, and Lands End (where you’ll find King Arthur’s castle). Newquay itself is a great spot to visit- it’s known for its nightlife and its surf vibes, so it’s definitely worth a stop! Cornwall is really small, so flying to Newquay gets you within easy distance of all the most popular spots.
If you can’t find the perfect flight to Newquay, you can also get to Cornwall by flying into Bristol and hiring a car (or taking the train, if you’re up for the scenic route!) This is best if you’re looking to visit parts of Northern Cornwall like Tintagel, where you’ll find King Arthur’s castle, or Bude, a gorgeous town with kid-approved natural swimming basins.
