Korcula Island Holidays

One of Croatia's coolest islands

Surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea, Korcula Island awaits with its timeless charm and rich history. Located in the Dubrovnik region on the stunning Dalmatian Coast, this idyllic island is renowned for its stunning landscapes and incredibly well preserved mediaeval architecture. Home to a lesser-known wine culture, a stunning old town, a collection of hidden beaches, endless olive groves, and some unique dining specialties, this island is one of Croatia’s gems.

Steeped in legend and lore, the town of Korcula boasts a fascinating past, with its pristine old town believed to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Explore the narrow cobblestone streets and discover hidden treasures around every corner, from ancient churches to charming cafés offering tasty local cuisine. Set on the north-eastern tip of the island opposite the Peljesac peninsula, Korcula has one of the best-preserved mediaeval centres in the Adriatic.

Prepare to be enchanted by the island’s lush pine forests, olive groves, and vineyards. Don’t miss the opportunity to sample the island’s renowned wines, produced from indigenous grape varieties cultivated in its fertile soil. And as the sun sets over the Adriatic, immerse yourself in the island’s nightlife, where traditional music and dance come alive under the starry sky. Korcula Island really is as dreamy as it sounds.
