Travel information for easyJet holidays customers

Since the UK is not a member of the European Union, you should visit the UK government travel advice for the latest information and requirements, such as your passport being in good condition and signed, valid for either three or six months beyond your return travel date, and being less than 10 years old. So, you might need to renew it earlier than planned. Please check this, so your holiday can go ahead.
The EU is looking at implementing a new system called EES (Entry/Exit System) in the near future. 6 months after the EES has gone live, the EU will also start their own visa scheme called ETIAS (European Travel Information and Automation Service). It’s a new travel authorisation requirement for travel to Europe but it's currently not in operation and applications aren’t live, but you may have seen and heard about its upcoming implementation. Both systems are expected to go live in 2025.
It’s your responsibility to ensure you meet the criteria for your destination. And if you don’t, you risk being unable to travel on your holiday, or being denied entry when you arrive at your holiday destination.
If you’ve been issued with a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before 1 January 2021, this will continue to be valid until the expiry date. If you apply for a card from this date onwards, you will be issued with a new UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) instead of an EHIC. You can apply for this on the NHS website. Make sure you check the FCDO advice for your destination to see if the EHIC or GHIC is accepted.
