Protaras Plaza Hotel

The Protaras Plaza Hotel is a much-loved whitewashed property close to Cyprus’ eastern shores. It’s in a convenient spot, less than a 10-minute walk from idyllic Fig Tree Bay, with its golden sands and gently shelving waves, and under 15 from the nearest shops, bars and tavernas. With lively night-time entertainment and a great chill-out scene back at base, though, you may not want to venture out at all.

Head for the heart of the hotel for serious R&R. Here, you’ll find a large, inviting swimming pool, complete with a section just for tots and a bubbly whirlpool corner. A line-up of sunbeds and umbrellas fringe the waterside, plus there’s a bar next door that’ll keep you going with snacks and drinks in between tanning.
