Annex Copenhagen

This bright and breezy hotel offers a great value place to stay, whether you’re looking to tour around Copenhagen’s cultural hotspots, or make the most of the city’s vibrant nightlife. You’ll be a short walk from City Hall Square and the twinkling lights of Tivoli Gardens, while it’s only a five minute stroll in the opposite direction to the hip hangouts of the Meatpacking District.

The hotel’s communal area is called The Apartment. Here, you can meet your fellow travellers, shoot some pool, and use the kitchen facilities. If you’d prefer to leave the cooking to someone else, the Annex’s sister hotel Absalon provides a fantastic breakfast buffet. It has a well-stocked cocktail bar too – definitely worth popping in for a couple of cocktails before you head out for the night.

Standard rooms make use of communal bathrooms, or you can pay a little extra for your own private en suite. The decor matches the rest of the hotel – bright and funky, with a little bit of Danish ingenuity in the way everything is laid out for maximum convenience. A television is included and there’s free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
