Tivoli Hotel

As its name suggests, this hotel has strong links with Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen’s famous amusement park, whose design team is responsible for the hotel’s quirky interiors. With a location close to Copenhagen harbour, and the city centre within easy walking distance, it makes a great base for a sightseeing break.

If you’d like to dine in, you’ll be spoilt for choice, with three fantastic restaurants. Head to MASH if you’re in the mood for steak, or sample the excellent Asian plates on offer in Sticks ‘n’ Sushi. Want to try something more authentically Danish? The Tivoli Brasserie is for you. You can also grab snacks from the Lobby Bar, as well as an eclectic selection of cocktails.

With its clean waters, Copenhagen is a great city for swimmers – you’ll find all sorts of pontoons and jumping off points down by the harbour. But if you prefer to bathe in waters that are a little warmer, you’re in luck. The hotel has a gorgeous indoor swimming pool, along with a fitness centre and sauna.

Already been to Tivoli Gardens? You might recognise some of the magical touches in the hotel rooms. The decor is full of quirky nods to the park, from hanging lanterns to balloon-shaped lamps.
