SOWELL RESIDENCES Les Lauriers Roses

Tucked between Sète and Béziers, Cap d’Agde on the Mediterranean coast offers sandy beaches, watersports, and quite possibly everything you’re looking for in a sunshine break. Les Laurier Roses is one of three places to stay in Sowell’s Cap D’Agde complex. They all share the same pool, bar, restaurant, and leisure facilities, but Les Laurier Roses is especially good for larger families and groups of friends because some of the apartments sleep up to six. Plus, it’s closest to the pool!

Other than the swimming pool, there’s plenty more to do. Tennis, volleyball, and minigolf are available for a friendly competition, and there's a free mini club for kids aged 4-8—remember to check if it’s open during your travel dates if you want to take advantage. There’s also a children’s play area so little ones can run off any lingering energy.

The apartments are laid out like a mini village. There’s a help-yourself feel here – bed linen is provided, but you’ll need to pop it on the beds when you arrive. The apartments all have kitchens with an oven, fridge, and dishwasher, and there are laundry facilities available for a charge if you need a mid-holiday wardrobe refresh.

You’ve got the option to go all-inclusive here – ideal if you prefer to budget for everything upfront. If you do, it includes a breakfast buffet where you’ll also gather up the bits you want for lunch to take with you. Then, the buffet dinner kicks off at 7 pm, with wine included. Non-alcoholic drinks are available from 10 am to 10 pm, but if you’re looking for something stronger, complimentary alcoholic beverages are available for a couple of hours in the afternoon and then again in the evening when you can raise a glass to another sunny day in France.
