Quiet and convenient base for exploring Paris
Don’t be deceived by the fact this hotel looks a fair distance out of the city centre on a map – it makes an excellent base for a city break in Paris thanks to easy access to nearby public transport. If you take the tram, just a few steps away from the hotel, to La Defense station (around 10 minutes away), you can quickly and easily get to the city’s top attractions via metro.
Head up to the rooftop terrace lounge and you’ll be treated to superb views of the surrounding area, including the Eiffel Tower in the distance – a lovely spot for an evening drink. The bar offers another laid back and sophisticated place to hang out, flooded with natural light thanks to the south-facing atrium.
Start your day off with a satisfying buffet breakfast, with croissants, fresh bread, fruit and cooked eggs among the variety of options available, before heading into the city full of energy and ready to take in the sights. You can also have it delivered directly to your room on request, if you prefer.
The rooms are light, airy and furnished in an elegant, minimalist style, each one fitted with air conditioning, sound proofing, free wi-fi and a TV.

What Hotel Atrium has to offer
La Defense
La Defense is the largest purpose-built business district in Europe, and, as such, it is superbly well-connected to the centre of Paris by public transport. It’s only 10 minutes away from the hotel by tram, and once you’re there, you can hop on the metro and be right in the heart of the city in less than five minutes.
Parc du Château
This tranquil park on the banks of the Seine is a delightful place for a leisurely stroll or a picnic, replete with a fountain, a small lake, some exotic birds, and a play area for children. You’ll find it just a five-minute stroll away from the hotel.
Fort Mont-Valérien
This impressive 19th-century fortress might not be on most people’s Paris itineraries, but if you’re staying in the area, it’s well worth a visit – particularly if you’re into history. It was a key strategic site for protecting the city during the Franco-Prussian war, and was later used as a prison during World War Two. Today, it’s a national memorial, and as one of the highest points in the area, it’s a great vantage point for views of the Paris skyline.
