Modern base for exploring Berlin
Located in the heart of East Berlin, this hotel is a short walk from the TV Tower and Berlin Cathedral, as well as a whole host of fantastic bars and restaurants. And with great public transport links close by, it’s in a prime spot for accessing all the sights of the city.
The hotel dishes up a hot breakfast each morning, perfect before a busy day spent exploring. You’ll probably get your 10,000 steps in with ease, but if you fancy a proper gym session, there’s a well-equipped fitness centre, too. If unwinding with a drink is more your style, make a beeline for the stylish bar and settle in for the evening.
When it’s time to turn in, you’ll find your room is home to a comfy bed, a good Wi-Fi connection, and a TV – although with Berlin on the doorstep you’ll hardly have time to watch it.

What Hampton by Hilton Berlin City Centre Alexanderplatz has to offer
Alexanderplatz
A short walk from the hotel, Alexanderplatz is Berlin’s biggest public square, and the perfect starting point for sightseeing, with many of the city’s well-known attractions reachable on foot. Why not scale the TV Tower for sweeping views of the city skyline, or stroll along Unter den Linden, Berlin’s oldest and most famous boulevard.
Public transport
While there’s plenty you can see on foot from the hotel’s doorstep, there are also handy nearby links to public transport. There’s a tram stop just across the street, while Berlin Alexanderplatz rail station is a short walk away. It’s one of the busiest transport hubs in Berlin and links to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn networks, which will take you all over the city.
Nikolai Quarter
Nikolaiviertel, or Nikolai Quarter, is Berlin’s oldest residential quarter. Here, you’ll find idyllic narrow streets and impressive landmarks, like the 18th century Ephraimpalais, which houses exhibitions on the city’s history and culture, or the Baroque Knoblauchhaus, built in 1760. With plenty of quaint pubs and restaurants too, it’s one of Berlin’s most popular spots.
