Barbati Holidays

A small coastal village nestled in the northeastern corner of Corfu, Barbati is a popular spot for a relaxing beach break. Its white shingle beach is lapped with invitingly clear water, with loungers available to hire if you fancy making a day of it. When you’re ready to stretch your legs or grab some lunch, you can walk to the village from the beach on a route through olive groves, but if your hunger can’t wait, there’s a gaggle of beachfront tavernas. 
 
Barbati is at the foot of Mount Pantokrator. Take walking shoes if you fancy balancing time on the beach with exploring the hiking trails into the hills. You’ll catch spectacular views of the coastline and the Ionian Sea — even Italy if you can find the energy to walk all the way to the top. You could pop to Nissaki, Kassiopi, and Corfu Town if you fancy exploring further afield at lower levels. Then, when you return, end your day with a glass of the local brandy.
