Athena Pallas

Set around low-rise buildings with stone arches and lovely gardens, you’ll get an away-from-it-all feeling at Athena Pallas.
 
There’s a colourful playroom for little ones, a games room, mini golf, and an outdoor playground. With the kids entertained, you can slip away to the spa, where there’s an indoor pool, sauna, hammam, and a choice of massages and pampering treatments. Although perhaps you’ll make a beeline for the gorgeous sandy beach right outside the hotel.
 
There are four restaurants here. Doxato is an all-day buffet restaurant where you can choose to dine indoors or out on the terrace. For al la carte dining, try Dionisos, a Greek restaurant, or Hierion which serves a menu inspired by the Byzantine period. For something different, try the hotel’s cooking class, where you’ll learn how to create some classic Greek dishes. If you’re a pool person, you’ll probably make good use of Lemoni, the poolside taverna with a menu of contemporary Greek dishes, although there are two other pool bars if you’re just after an icy drink on a hot Greek day.
