Set just a five-minute drive from Trapezaki Beach, you’ll find the Lygies Studios in a peaceful countryside perch that’s made for relaxation. However, if you do want to get out and about to explore the island, the capital – Argostoli – is within a 20-minute drive.

When you’re not down on the beach, chill out by the outdoor swimming pool while the kids have fun at the hotel’s playground. You can also take a stroll to the nearby bakery for freshly baked breads and pastries – it’s just over five minutes away on foot. To make the most of your time in Kefalonia, hire a car so you can see more of the island.

Rooms here are a mix of apartments and studios, and they all come with a fully-equipped kitchenette, so it’s ideal for self-catering. A 10-minute stroll will take you to the local mini market if you need supplies for cooking. There are also a couple of restaurants nearby, if you don’t fancy cooking.
