Flights to Kalamata take just three hours and 40 minutes. From there, drive northwest to Skafidia, which will take one hour and 45 minutes. 
You’ll be well-placed if you like Kalamata olives! There’s plenty to whet your appetite, with locally made salty cheeses, herby meat dishes, and full-bodied wine.
Head up to the port of Kyllini and get the ferry over to Zakynthos. It only takes an hour and 23 minutes to hop over to the island, which makes for a great day out.
