Colombo

Within arm’s reach of the marina and the historic centre of Naples, Colombo is a great spot to base yourself for a few days spent exploring what the city has to offer. There’re great nearby public transport links, too, with trains, trams, and buses all practically on the doorstep.

There are loads of great sights in Naples, so the only question is where to first? Castel Nuovo is a medieval castle with centuries of history, and some great views from the roof. Stretch your legs on the 25-minute walk from the hotel or hop on the bus and let it do the hard work of getting you there. Right next door to the castle is the Royal Palace of Naples and the Piazza del Plebiscito, so it’s well worth the trip over to that side of town.
