Founded by a Sicilian prince in 1699, Campofelice di Roccella is a picturesque town set on one of Sicily’s finest beaches – a broad 12-kilometre stretch of gleaming sand that reaches along the scene-stealing northern coast. An easy hop along the coast from the city of Cefalu with its handsome Norman fortress, Campofelice di Roccella itself is dotted with ancient ruins, and backed by the towering Madonie mountains.
Campofelice di Roccella holidays are great for those looking to unwind. You’re pretty much assured sunshine, and the beautiful beach is lapped by a turquoise, shallow sea. But there’s also plenty to do, as this is a springboard for the nearby mountains, and there are fantastic water sports facilities along the beach. Gourmet travellers will be happy, too, as the town is famous for its superb Sicilian cuisine. With such an amazing location, and so much to offer, holidays to Campofelice di Roccella can be whatever you want them to be.
