Hotel Jaccarino

With wide angle views over the Bay of Naples and the town of Sorrento, the Hotel Jaccarino has really hit the jackpot when it comes to location. It’s perched in a hilltop spot in the village of Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, and has been welcoming guests for over 100 years. Expect traditional décor and architecture – think whitewashed buildings with terracotta tiled roofs and wooden-shuttered windows. Head inside and you’ll find time-stamped tapestries hung on the yellow walls, and authentic Italian furnishings. 

The hotel runs a free shuttle bus into Sorrento, and the drive only takes around 15 minutes, so you can be exploring the cobbled streets lined with restaurants and boutiques in no time. If you’d prefer to chill out back at the hotel, you’ll have everything you need at your feet. There’s an outdoor pool to dip into, and a spacious sun terrace top with loungers and parasols, so that’s sunbathing sessions sorted. The poolside snack bar means drinks and light bites are within easy reach, too.
