Walking is the best way to get a feel for the city but there's also buses, trams and metros which run from 5am to 12am.
Turin's water comes from the Alps and is perfectly safe to drink. You'll find plenty of fountains where you can fill up a reusable bottle.
The well-equipped golden stand of Rivera Delle Palme is the closest beach to Turin and can be reached in just over an hour.
