Barcelona Cathedral
Gaudi’s masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia, might steal the limelight, but you’ll be missing a stunner if you pass up the chance to visit Barcelona Cathedral. Constructed over centuries, it’s a majestic example of gothic architecture, with intricate facades, peaceful cloisters, and a grand central nave. Make sure you take the small elevator up to the rooftop for breathtaking views of the city. The cathedral’s central location only a five-minute walk from the hotel makes it an excellent meeting point too.
La Rambla
Taking a stroll down La Rambla is an absolute must when visiting Barcelona. It’s the city’s most iconic street – a largely pedestrianised boulevard stretching 1.2km from the Columbus Monument, by the port, to the Plaça de Catalunya at the northern tip of the Gothic Quarter, home to an abundance of places to eat, drink, shop and generally experience the buzzing atmosphere.
