The Corner Hotel

From the outside, The Corner Hotel is very much in keeping with the elegant style of architecture found throughout much of The Eixample – a bustling district which bloomed in the 19th century, connecting Barcelona’s historic centre with villages on the city’s outskirts. Step inside, however, and you’ll immediately be struck by the contrast that arises from the hotel’s slick, ultra-modern interiors. 

Although detached from the busiest parts of the city, you can easily walk from here to the Passeig de Gracia (a wide, tree-lined boulevard home to some of Barcelona’s most extravagant architecture) and La Rambla in 15-20 minutes or so. There’s a metro station close by, too, just a five-minute stroll around the corner.
