Benicasim Holidays

Sandy beaches and famed festivals

Benicassim has been a popular resort since the 19th century, and it’s easy to see why. This Spanish town north of Valencia features a line of glorious sandy beaches on one side and a rugged nature reserve on the other. It has a great buzz thanks to its mix of Spanish and international tourists, and some world-class music festivals, including the annual Festival Internacional de Benicassim (FIB).

Benicassim holidays also offer water sports, bars and restaurants that together fill the sun-drenched beaches with life. Behind the beaches, there’s a popular water park, while a handsome promenade passes grand historic villas. The Desierto de las Palmas Nature Reserve inland has ridges to climb and ruins left behind by Carmelite monks to explore. The monks still brew wine and liqueurs, which you can sip on to toast this town, making holidays to Benicassim ideal, whatever type of break you are looking for.
