Playa de Gandia Holidays

A sunkissed Spanish gem

Playa de Gandia holidays are defined by three elements – sun, sea and sand. The resort, just south of Valencia, offers consistently warm weather and vast golden beaches. If you want to spend your time swimming, sunbathing and relaxing at beachside bars, this Spanish resort is a great option. Paella and sangria flow freely in the restaurants, while the sands are spacious enough for sunloungers, volleyball areas and playgrounds to happily coexist.

It’s well connected too, with Valencia a short hop away and ferries to Ibiza leaving from the port. A few kilometres inland is the linked town of Gandia, which has an old/new vibe, a good choice of places to eat and drink and an atmospheric old quarter. The town’s fascinating history is dominated by the Borja family, who built a luxurious palace that you can visit, and who inspired Gandia’s 16th-century golden age.
