Each summer, thousands flock to the White Isle to get lost in its spectacular nightlife, and San Antonio is at the heart of it all. San Antonio Town itself was once a dinky fishing village. But with the arrival of the rave scene in the 80s and the house movement a decade later, clubbing in San Antonio took off in a big way. Superclubs Eden and Es Paradis are now famous world-over, and the neon-lit West End is jam-packed with clubs and bars.
There’s lots more to this place than nightlife, though. Holidays to San Antonio also encompass traditional Spanish cuisine and rainbow-coloured markets.
San Antonio Bay has a relaxed vibe, with beautiful beaches, snorkelling spots and restaurants serving sunset cocktails and deliciously fresh seafood.
San Antonio is an easy drive from the capital, Ibiza Town. A UNESCO-protected district, its whitewashed buildings are topped by a giant fortress. Head here for boutique shopping and some of the best tapas on the island. It’s also where you’ll find the legendary clubs of Pacha and Amnesia.
