Zafiro Alzinar Mar

The adults-only Zafiro Alzinar Mar is in a secluded spot on the outskirts of charming Can Picafort. The hotel’s backed by lush countryside greenery, but a 10-minute wander will take you to the resort’s powder-soft stretch of sand, which unravels along the coast for three kilometres.

Back at the hotel, the pools steal the spotlight. There’s a huge curvy number set into a smart wooden sun deck topped with loungers, parasols and lofty palm trees. Then there are two rectangular pools, one of which is covered if you prefer to stay out of the sun when you go for a dip – it’s heated, too. Feeling peckish? There’s a poolside bar for drinks and snacks.
