Luxe family friendly retreat

The Gloria Verde Resort gets top marks for location. It’s on the outskirts of Belek – just a 10-minute drive from the cosmopolitan city centre – and has a prime setting on a private sweep of sand, neighbouring two award-winning golf greens. 

Great postcode aside, the pool scene is absolutely epic. There are lots of them, including an infinity pool with a spectacular view, a children’s one featuring a giant octopus, and a couple of indoor varieties in the spa. The waterpark wows the most, though – it’s packed with slides and chutes, and has an aqua bowl.
