Papillon Belvil goes all out on its line-up of activities and facilities. It’s perched on the edge of a sandy, Blue-flagged beach, too, so expect plenty of opportunities for swimming and sunbathing.

If you can tear yourself away from your sandcastle, you’ll find the pool scene here is a real winner. The main pool is big and curvy, fringed with sun loungers and swaying palms – perfect for whiling away an afternoon with a good book and an ice-cold drink. Elsewhere there’s an outdoor heated pool, a dedicated relax pool, and a couple of spots dedicated to little ones. And if you fancy making a proper splash, make your way to the on-site aquapark and you can whizz down the six slides on offer.
