Stylish haven overlooking Liberation Square
The swanky Pomme d’Or Hotel has been welcoming guests through its doors for over 180 years, and it’s built up a reputation on the island for fantastic food and drink. Overlooking Liberation Square and the marina, it’s also brilliantly positioned for making the most of St Helier’s vibrant culture and nightlife.
In the morning, choose between a sumptuous continental breakfast buffet or a fabulous full English in the Harbour Room. Later on, a menu of delicious dishes created using fresh local produce is on offer – served à la carte in winter, or buffet-style throughout the summer. There’s also the Cafe Bar, for a nice cup of coffee, lighter bites and snacks, which are available all day. Or if you fancy a bit of pub grub, the Wharf Bar has its own menu, as well as your favourite draught beers. Later on, the Porter’s Store opens for some of Jersey’s best late night tipples.
The hotel might be in the centre of town, but you won’t hear a peep all night, thanks to the excellent soundproofed rooms. They are spacious and feature contemporary furnishings, including big beds with 100% cotton bed linen. In your en-suite, you’ll find a selection of toiletries from the White Company, so you can properly pamper yourself before you turn in. There’s also free high speed Wi-Fi, a television and 24-hour room service – just in case you get peckish in the middle of the night.
