With its beautiful architecture, which is often illuminated at night, Belfast City Hall is a standout feature of the city centre – public tours are free and include the Titanic Memorial Gardens.

Dating back to 1845, the prison known as The Crum is steeped in history, with many famous political figures having spent time behind its walls.
Botanic Gardens
Located in the south of the city, these gardens are famous for their Palm House and Tropical Ravine House, and often hold concerts and other events.

What’s the weather like?

Belfast has a temperate climate, with less rain than the west of Northern Ireland. Although the weather is unpredictable, there are many balmy, sunny days throughout the year.

What’s the cuisine like?

Highly eclectic, it includes seafood from Belfast’s Lough (lake) and surrounding waters, some of Europe’s best beef and lots of other brilliant local produce, making for an exciting culinary visit.
