Visit Bilbao between June and September for the warmest temperatures and a lesser chance of rain. Due to its hilly location in Spain’s Basque Country, the city rarely gets too hot, and can often feel cooler than it is, so always check the weather before you leave and pack for all eventualities!
Come to Bilbao between March and May if you’ve got lots of sightseeing on the agenda, as the main sights are less crowded and it’s easier to tread the hilly terrain in the cooler temperatures. Prices are much lower than in the warmer summer months, and it’s a lot easier to get a table or room in the best restaurants and hotels.
