The mighty Nile slices Luxor in two. Amid all this fabulous history, there is still a Luxor of the here and now to get to know. The colourful bazaars are a feast for the eyes, with merchants hawking their wares and weaving their magic on you with persuasive sales pitches. Just remember to haggle!
