If you’re of the mind-set that luxury and children don’t mix, the Grand Hotel might make you think twice. Not only does it look like it’s come straight out of the pages of a glossy travel magazine, but it comes with heaps of activities for kids and grown-ups alike.

A huge free-from swimming pool takes centre stage within the hotel’s grounds, and there are a further two swimming pools at the hotel, all slotted into the hillside. One comes with seven brightly-coloured waterslides, while the other is reserved for adults. You’ll also find splash area for little ones, along with a baby pool. The daytime activity agenda covers off everything from aqua fit and water polo to table tennis and football on the beach, while little ones are entertained at the kids’ club and in the playground. There’s also a spa with a sauna and Jacuzzi.
