Amidst the well-kept gardens you’ll find a small-but-perfectly-formed swimming pool and a smattering of sun loungers – perfect for long days spent lazing in the Mediterranean sunshine. If you fancy a wander, the village is right on the doorstep – as is Lourdata, the next village over. If the ocean is calling your name, the beach in Lourdata is a petite sand and shingle number that is reachable in about 30 minutes on foot.

During your stay you’ll be within shouting distance of the lively Argostoli, too. From the pretty marina on one side to the choice of beaches on the other, and loads of shops and restaurants, you’ll have plenty to busy yourself with of an afternoon. The bus from Vlachata takes about 20 minutes, and the stop is just a three-minute stroll from the apartments.

Each studio here comes equipped with some basic self-catering, so you’ll be able to rustle something up between meals when hunger strikes. Step out into the village and you’ll find plenty of great options for eats within walking distance. Think cosy local tavernas serving classic Greek cuisine – with a side of authentic Greek hospitality of course.
