Collecting stories since 1959 and now permanently docked at Rotterdam, this colossal ship – 228 metres long, 28 metres wide, 51 metres high – has been partially redesigned to accommodate new bars, restaurants, a grand ballroom, escape rooms and, of course, hotel rooms.
You’ll now find spacious four-star suites in place of the cabins that used to host guests travelling to New York back in 1959. The suites all have 50s-style décor, paying tribute to the SS Rotterdam’s heritage.
When it’s time to wine and dine, the Ocean Wine Bar is an ideal place to relax on board. Enjoy a wide range of beverages and charcuterie platters while you ease into the night. It’s also worth checking out the Captains Lounge and the Lido Terrace restaurant, where you can dine while taking in views of the Rotterdam skyline.
For a bit of fun, there are heaps of activities for the whole family. Check out the tricky escape rooms, guide the kids to the children’s playroom, or splash around the pool while you soak up some sun.
