Patitiri Holidays

IT’S ALL GREEK FOR YOU!

Known for its charming architecture, rocky cliffs, and dense pine forests, Patitiri is your perfect gateway to the picturesque island of Alonissos. Nestled on the shores of the beautiful Aegean Sea, the town is rich in culture and natural beauty.

Start your day by heading to Chora, the old village. Perched high above the sea, this charming spot, with its narrow streets and white-washed houses, offers sweeping coastal views.Or, if you fancy a more laid-back morning, head to the turquoise waters and pristine sands of Patitiri Beach.

Dive into the local culture by strolling through the cobbled streets of the town, exploring the quaint shops, cosy cafes, and inviting bars. When hunger strikes, indulge in the local cuisine at one of the traditional tavernas. Don’t miss out on local specialities like local tuna, grilled octopus, and the island’s famous cheese pie.

If you’re a history-lover, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. A scenic, one-hour boat trip will take you to the nearby island of Kyra Panagia, celebrated for its beautiful monastery and scenic hiking trails. Get a fascinating glimpse into the island's history by visiting the ancient Greek ruins of Ikos in nearby Kokkinokastro, a three-mile hike or short cab ride away. Set on top of a hill, for strategic defensive reasons, it also provides expansive views of the Aegean and the islands in the Northern Sporades archipelago.

End your day at one of the town’s tavernas, where you can enjoy the local food accompanied by lively Greek music. These relaxed, traditional pubs often stay open late, so that you can soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a leisurely meal. Though you might be enticed to dance!

Patitiri’s enchanting blend of ancient history, natural beauty and rich culture makes it an irresistibly captivating destination – just demanding to be explored further!
